A run-out to beat RCB, the head of Hyderabad; Warning to Bangalore !!

Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 races in an unexpected turnaround. RCB’s hopes of reaching the top two were dashed when Hyderabad posted its third win of the season, which was marred by losses. The man of the match was Kane Williamson, who excelled in both hitting and fielding.

Despite a good start, the collapse of the middle order did not give Hyderabad the expected score. Yet when the bowlers rose to the occasion, the game was in their hand. Jason Roy (44) and Kane Williamson (31) were the top hitters. In bowling, Rashid Khan hit for the first time this season, but all the other players stood out. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (12 not out) and Umran Malik (21 not out) in the last over were the most prominent artists.

The RCB lost due to some hitting errors. Devadatta Padikkal (41) and Glenn Maxwell (40) showed fighting spirit but it didn’t matter. Maxwell’s departure marked a turning point in the game. Retesting Dan Christian as a disappointment also backfired. However, the defeat will not affect RCB as they have already reached the play-offs.

It is a relief to India that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is back to the way the IPL comes to an end. Bhuvneshwar, who was part of the T20 World Cup squad, was initially disappointing, but has managed to find a rhythm in the last two matches. The brilliant Umran Malik has also been received in the second game in a row. Umran has become a star who can win millions of rupees in mega auctions.

The game against RCB Hyderabad is a warning before the play-offs. Overconfidence hit the team hard. The poor form of some players in midfield is also a cause for concern. The team management’s lack of courage to portray AB de Villiers as a disappointment has drawn criticism. George Gorton was also completely disappointed.
