Afghanistan with rain record, Scotland with zero embarrassment record

Sharjah: A handful of records with a huge win over Scotland in their first match of the T20 World Cup. Afghanistan defeated Scotland by 130 runs in the Super 12 match. The winner was spinner Mujibur Rahman who took five wickets. Afghanistan scored 190 of four in 20 overs, while Scotland was out of 60 in 10.2 overs. Hazrat Zazai (44) and Mohammad Shahzad (22) gave Afghanistan a good start when they won the toss and chose to hit. Gurbas (46) and Sadran (59) also shone. Safian Sharif took two wickets for Scotland, while Josh Davy and Mark Watt took one wicket each. This is the second major victory for a team at the Twenty20 World Cup. The Afghans also recorded their biggest victory in the T20s. Scotland is out for the fourth lowest score in the T20 World Cup. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman became the first player to take five wickets in his T20 World Cup debut. With the great victory, the Afghans topped the points table.
