Interesting things are visible due to the corona epidemic. Except for a few areas, including Delhi, theaters are still operational in all parts of the country. Despite this, almost every film opening in January has been postponed for fear that audiences won’t get anywhere near the box office. Even in February, there is the possibility of postponement of the films that are scheduled. On the other hand, Allu Arjun will release another movie after Pushpa: The rise movie in a similar environment. When the creators give up on Allu Arjun and his creators, it is seen as a great opportunity.
Allu Arjun is a Telugu star. His film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was made only in Telugu but now there are plans to release it on a large scale. It will be dubbed in Hindi and will be released in theaters on January 26 this month, the Republic Day weekend. There was a ‘Kashmir Archives’ schedule on January 26 that was postponed. In Republic Day Week, Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj, formerly Radhey Shyam, Prabhas’ Jr NTR and Ramcharan’s RRR and Shahid Kapoor’s jersey were also postponed.
The public is liking Allu Arjun’s new avatar in Pushpa.
Why is Allu’s film released, what is it for?
The reason behind the launch of Aala Vaikunthapuramulu is no doubt to capitalize on Pushpa’s record breaking success. Pushpa was released under adverse circumstances. In front of him was Hollywood’s ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ and Hindi’s great sports drama 83. But Pushpa, which was released in many languages including Hindi, turned out to be a box office success. The Hindi version of the film also did a lot of business. In the second week of January, Pushpa earned Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 3.5 crore every day, which proves the success of the movie. So far, the Hindi version alone has managed to earn more than Rs 82 crore at the box office, which will be considered as South’s movie charisma after the recent Bahubali and Rajinikanth movies.

One of the main reasons for Pushpa’s profits in the weeks that followed was that there were no new movies to see in theaters. Word of mouth for Allu’s film was good and audiences continually flock to theaters to see it. Since there are no new movies to show near theaters at the moment, Allu’s Aala Vaikunthapuramulu is expected to make a tremendous profit from the solo release. Pushpa’s mood is fresh and the audience may be attracted to Allu’s movie due to good entertainment. It’s like an opportunity in a disaster. Any benefit producers get from Hindi is a huge plus point.
Pushpa was made for a Pan India release. But there was no such plan for Ala Vaikunthapuramulu. Trying to launch it by dubbing it in Hindi seems to be hitting the nail on the head. That too in a situation where there isn’t a Hindi movie to show near theaters until at least January and mid-February. It is feared that due to the current situation, Hindi producers will avoid releasing the films even in February. By the way, the picture on the postponement of films that have a release date in mid-February is not clear. Bollywood Hungama’s February release schedule still shows the schedules for Gangubai Kathiawadi (February 18), Vikrant Rona (February 24), and Jayesh Bhai Jordaar (February 25).
So, can Allu put an end to other producers’ doubts?
There is a chance that if Aala Vaikunthapurramuloo gets theatrical audience and the film wins big, it could attract other producers as well. Big producers can prevent the release, but in the crowd of big movies, this can become an opportunity for low-budget movies. You won’t have to face the challenge of a big movie to show it in theaters and you’ll have the chance to make a solo release, which could never have been easier under normal circumstances.
Movie theaters are still open. Cinemas where there was a possibility of more danger regarding Corona have been closed. Especially in metropolitan cities. While movie theaters in small towns are operating with the Corona guidelines. Due to the sudden corona epidemic, dozens of films are stuck for release. There is almost no window for low budget movies. In the current situation, Allu’s formula can show a new path to the film industry.
