“Around 10:30, unidentified terrorists attacked CRPF’s 178 billion-member Naka party in Babapora, Shopian. The CRPF retaliated by shooting and killing an unidentified terrorist,” Shopian’s senior police superintendent said.

The deceased has been identified as Shahid Ahmed. According to India Today, the man, a native of Bijbehara, was a milkman.
