Popular TV and film actress Surekha Sikri passed away on Friday at the age of 75 due to a heart attack. With his demise, there has been a wave of mourning again in the industry and the actors who worked with him are sharing their experiences with Surekha Sikri. Surekha Sikri’s work in the film Badhaai Ho, released in the year 2017, was highly appreciated. Ayushmann Khurrana, who plays the lead role in the film, has also shared an emotional post reminiscing with co-star Surekha Sikri.

Ayushmann Khurrana has shared two pictures on his social media account. He wrote, “With every film a family is formed and we spend more time with the film family than with our actual family.” One such beautiful family belonged to the movie Badhaai Ho. It was the best family out of all my films with the best cast. Surekha Sikri was the head of our family, who was the most progressive in the whole family. He was the same in real life as well. Absolutely trendy and still young at heart.
