Tomato Price Hike: Last month, the price of tomatoes fell so much that farmers used to throw tomatoes on the road by filling them in tractors. There was a sudden jump in the price of vegetables that the price of tomato has gone up from Rs 120 to 125 per kg. In many places, farmers have shifted from tomato to other cash crops.
