New Delhi: Congress has reconstituted its parliamentary affairs committees ahead of the monsoon session. Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has reorganized the committees in both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha as part of efforts to streamline their work.

The two committees will meet separately on the days of conferences to discuss policy to be adopted in Parliament.

Lok Sabha Committee– Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary (leader), Gaurav Gogoi (deputy leader), Kodikunnil Suresh (main whip), Manish Tiwari, Shashi Tharoor, Ravneet Singh, Manikam Tagore

Rajya Sabha Committee– Mallikarjun Kharge (leader), Anand Sharma (deputy leader), Jairam Ramesh (main whip), Ambika Soni, P Chidambaram, Digvijay Singh, KC Venugopal.

Sonia Gandhi has announced that the leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge will be the coordinator at the time of the joint meeting of the committees.
