Covid no less; Core team to six states with elevated cases, including Kerala

These core teams will contact state authorities and understand the challenges and issues facing outbreak prevention in the cases of Kovid-19. The main objective of the groups is to remove barriers to strengthen control measures.
The team will assess the situation in the states and suggest corrective measures for public health activities to the respective state governments. In addition, a copy of the report will be sent to the Ministry of Health of the Union.
Today 853 deaths were reported in the country. With this, the total death toll has exceeded four lakhs. India has become the third country in the world to report the highest number of Kovid deaths. So far, there have been 4,00,312 deaths in the country. 5.2 lakh in Brazil and 6.05 lakh in the United States.

In the last 24 hours, 46,617 cases of Kovid have been confirmed in the country. This brings the total number of Kovid victims to 3,04,58,251. There are currently 5,09,637 active cases of mealybugs in the country. The Health Ministry said that 2,95,48,302 people had been cured. A total of 59,384 people were discharged from the hospital yesterday.
