Covshield recipients can fly to these 15 countries; European countries approve the vaccine

New Delhi: 15 European countries have approved Kovishield, the serum institute’s Kovid-19 vaccine. This was stated by Adar Poonawala, executive director of the Serum Institute. With this, those who have received two doses of Kovishield will be able to enter 15 countries.

Covshield wax is licensed in 15 of the 27 countries in the European Union, including Germany. The vaccine is approved in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Poonawala said that most European Union countries have approved the cove’s shield recognizing its quality.

At no time did the company request approval of the vaccine. The European Union (EU) and the United States have agreed that the World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized the World Health Organization (WHO). Poonawala said that 17 of the 27 countries in the European Union have already ratified the Cow Shield.

The European Medicines Agency had previously said that it had not received any request from the Serum Institute for approval of the vaccine. Covshield accreditation by 15 countries will benefit Indian travelers and students. However, Italy and France have not yet approved the vaccine. The company has stated that it will not submit requests for approval of the vaccine.
