Amid the speculation about the success and failure of the movie ‘Brahmastra’, a Bollywood movie was the most discussed. The film has been produced and directed by veteran filmmaker R Balki, so people were talking about it the most. When the trailer for the movie was released, people said that it is a class movie. Its theme and story are so exciting that people will be drawn to theaters. But in this age of boycotting Bollywood movies, you can’t say for sure which movie will be a hit and which won’t. Because only movies that meet the scale of the audience are tasting success these days. They don’t have much to do with other things. In such a situation, two popular Bollywood movies have been released on the occasion of National Film Day. The first is R Madhavan’s film ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ and the second is Sunny Deol’s film ‘Chup: Revenge of the Artist’.
R Madhavan’s film ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ has been doing well at the box office.
Directed by Kookie Gulati, Dhokha: Round D Corner stars R Madhavan, Khushali Kumar, Darshan Kumar, and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead roles. The film marks the debut of T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar’s sister, Khushali Kumar, in Bollywood. It is obvious that he has also built it. There was not much discussion about this movie. Since the film was going to be made under the T-Series banner, PR promotion was going fierce. It was less discussed among the public. Not only this, there were two big movies in front of him. First, Sunny Deol’s film ‘Chup: Revenge of the Artist’, which was released simultaneously and second, Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra, which has already been released in theaters. The presence of these two was nothing short of a challenge for the movie ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’. Despite this, the film has fared better at the box office on its opening day.
The movie ‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ earned Rs 1.25 crore at the box office on the first day. In this way, the film has left behind the opening day collection of many great films released in 2022. The film Beast (Hindi) released in the same year cost Rs 0.55 crore, Dhakad Rs 0.55 crore, Major (Hindi) Rs 1.10 crore, Vikram (Hindi) Rs 0.60 crore, Public Interest Rs 0.43 crore, 777 Charlie (Hindi) had a box office gross of Rs 0.18 crore, Shabaash Mithu Rs 0.40 crore, Vikrant Rona (Hindi) Rs 1.11 crore, Kartikeya 2 (Hindi) 0.07 and Dobara Rs 0.72 crore. However, the film’s earnings have been much lower than those of ‘Chup: The Artist’s Revenge’ and Brahmastra. On the same day, ‘Chup’ collected 2.8 crore and Brahmastra collected 10.9 crore. If seen, even after so many days of liberation, the madness of Brahmastra is speaking loudly.
‘Dhokha: Round D Corner’ is a film full of suspense and thriller. In this one, you see a suspenseful drama full of twists and turns and gray tones of the characters. The film is based on the daily life of an urban couple. It has been shown how one’s life can change in one day. The film makes the audience reflect on what is true and what is false. Who wins the battle between truth and lies? If a lie is told with the truth, can it be proved that it is true? During the viewing of the film, the public continues to receive two-four with some similar questions. The story of the film revolves around four main characters. The four of them have their own story, but the truth and who’s lies will be known only after seeing the film. The strongest aspect of the film can be considered its cast, which fits perfectly with the story.
Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt and Shreya Dhanwantri are in the lead role along with Sunny Deol in the movie ‘Chup: Revenge of the Artist’ which was released with the movie ‘Dhokha’. The film tells the story of Danny, a serial killer who murdered critics, whose role is being played by Dulquer Salmaan. On the other hand, Sunny Deol plays the role of police officer Arvind Mathur in the film. The movie is not only receiving positive reviews from critics, but the audiences are also praising it. This is the reason why the film has already earned 32 percent of its cost. Made at Rs 10 crores, this film has done a business of Rs 2.60 to 3.20 crores on opening day. Not only this, Sunny Deol’s movie has also broken the records for Ajay Devgan’s Track 34 and Shahid Kapoor’s T-shirt at the box office. Thus, despite low ticket prices on National Movie Day, both films have done well.
