He acted in many memorable films like Golmaal, Namak Halaal and Inkaar. Now on July 1, at the age of 76, he said goodbye to this world. However, the cause of his death has not been revealed yet. When it was learned that the actor is survived by his wife, a son Siddharth and daughter Aarushi, who live in Singapore.
Harish Megan was born in Mumbai
Harish Megan was born on 6 December 1946 in Mumbai. He graduated from FTII Pune in the year 1974. Then he entered the film industry. He acted in many hit films. Like, Namak Halal, Chupke Chupke, Khushboo, Inkaar, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Golmaal and Shahenshah. His last film ‘Oops! ‘Yeh Mohabbat’ was released in the year 1997.
Harish Megan had his own acting institute
Harish Megan also ran an acting institute under his name in Juhu, Mumbai. Apart from this, he was also an instructor in Roshan Taneja’s acting school. CINTAA shared the sad news on its Twitter handle and paid tribute to the actor. He wrote, We condole the demise of Harish Magan (Member since June 1988). A Twitter user shared a video of Harish Megan from a song from the 1975 film ‘Aandhi’. He claimed that Harish Megan was a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India and was a close friend of Gulzar’s assistant Meraj.
