Gujarati film ‘Chelo Shaw’ out of Oscar race, ‘Naatu Naatu’ song from ‘RRR’ nominated

Oscar Nominations 2023: The final nominations for Oscars 2023 have been announced. In which the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film ‘RRR’ has got a nomination in the category of ‘Best Original Song’. While the official entry Oscar for Best International Film from India has been given to the Gujarati film ‘Chelo Shaw’ in 2023. The film ‘Chelo Shaw’, directed by filmmaker Pan Nalin, could not find a place in the nomination for the Final International Feature Film. The film ‘The Last Show’ is now out of the Oscar 2023 race.
Apart from RRR’s Natu Natu song (RRR to NAATU NAATU; Music by MM Keeravaani; Lyric by Chandrabose) in Oscars 2023, 2 documentary films have also been nominated at the Oscars.
