Rajinikanth-Amitabh appeared together in 1991
The source told that at present there is no official agreement for this film, but if all goes well, the pair of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth will be seen together on screen once again after 32 years. The two superstars were last seen together in the 1991 film Hum. Apart from this, they also worked together in films like Arrested and Andha Kanoon.
Rajinikanth will become a Muslim police officer
It is also being told that this film by TJ Gnanavel is based on a true story, in which Rajinikanth will play the role of a Muslim police officer. Now talking about the upcoming films of both the superstars, Rajinikanth is currently busy with Jailor and Laal Salaam. After being free from both these films, he will be busy with TJ Gnanavel’s film. However, this is Rajinikanth’s 170th film. That is why it is named Thalaiva 170.
