Parijad Kolah has earlier hosted ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, in which Navjot Singh Sidhu was the judge. In the promo, Kapil tells Parijad that Sidhu will definitely come if he calls. Hearing this, Archana gets a little worried and refuses Parijad with a hand gesture. Kapil again asks him to announce and looks at the entrance and says ‘thoko taali’, which was Sidhu’s trademark dialogue. Archana looks at the door shocked.

After the Pulwama attack in 2019, Navjot Singh Sidhu defended the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his special friend Imran Khan. Without naming anyone in the tweet, he said that the whole country or individuals cannot be held responsible for some people. People did not like his statement and The Kapil Sharma Show also started trending with him. The makers of the show did not want to get into any kind of false controversy. That’s why they asked Sidhu to stay away from the show with mutual understanding. After which he was fired after receiving threats to boycott the show.

Kapil Sharma and his team will once again go on a month long US tour, when the show will go off air Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shobhita Dhulipala will come to promote ‘The Night Manager 2’ which will be the last episode. The show will go off air in mid-July. India’s Got Talent will replace it.
