There was a drug case against actress Krishna Perera in Sarjah. He got bail in April. However, in June the court acquitted Chrisann Pereira of all charges. That’s why his family expected that he would return home within a week. However, his return is getting delayed. Krishan’s family worried about coming from India
However, Krishan has told his family that his passport is with the committee and a decision on his return can be taken after examining other documents. This process may take a month or two. There is no definite information about when he will return to India. Kevin said, “She is taking so long after her acquittal. She is very scared and worried. If something happens to her in the meantime, who will take responsibility?”
Will contact Indian Embassy
Kevin is trying to contact the Indian Embassy to get his sister back. “We are contacting the embassy to speed up the process. We cannot even imagine what Chrisann must be going through at this point. She has been through so much,” he added.
Krishan was arrested on 1 April
Please inform that 27-year-old Krishan Pereira is a resident of Borivali. He was arrested on 1 April at Sharjah airport. 10 grams of drugs were hidden in the trophy he had. Later in the investigation, it was found that Anthony Paul (bakery owner) and his associate Rajesh Bobhat alias Ravi (banker) hatched this conspiracy to trap him. Ravi disguises himself as a casting agent and sends Krishan to Sharjah to audition. He was the one who gave the trophy to Chrisson and hid the drugs in it. Sharjah police arrested him and sent Chris to jail for 3 weeks.
A ransom of Rs 80 lakh was demanded
After Krishan’s arrest, Ravi and Paul demand a ransom of Rs 80 lakh from his mother to release him. After which Krishan’s mother complained, the Mumbai Police arrested both of them. On Wednesday, apart from these two, a charge sheet has been filed against one more person for supplying drugs in large quantities.
