Deepika Kakkar said in the video shared on her YouTube channel that ‘we had dinner for Shoaib’s birthday and came home at 1.45. We changed clothes and later fell asleep. Then suddenly I felt the pressure of water. When this happens when the child pushes his bladder inwards, there is loss of urine control. So I thought that must have happened. When I went to the washroom, there was water like water. It didn’t have any color. I used to have pain during periods. This happened for the first time.

Along with this, he said that ‘Shoaib came and I told him everything. When this happened again, I became alert. When I slept the water started flowing more and more. I sat up straight. I was scared because it was not normal. When I woke up my dress and sheet were looking a little pink. I started getting more scared and asked Shoaib to call the doctor. When she went to clean everything, she was shocked to see blood on the mop. It was around 3 pm and the doctor advised to come to the hospital and said that the delivery could happen any time. I was crying and bad thoughts were coming in my mind. Shoaib told me to keep calm and gave me courage. He asked me for the bag. I didn’t prepare the bag. Because on 22nd June we had to go for the scan. We left like this’.

Deepika Kakkar further said that ‘when she sat in the car to go to the hospital, the child became alive while moving in her stomach. Later everyone convinced me to be brave and not panic during labour. Everything was normal when the child’s ECG was done. Later it was learned that there would be premature delivery. The hospital I was going to didn’t have a NICU, so we had to change hospitals. When the delivery was taking place, the doctor asked to guess the gender of the child. I knew the son would come. That’s why we called the name that we had in mind. When the baby was born, Shoaib was overjoyed and said, ‘Deep, it’s so cute.’
Eid was celebrated in the hospital itself
Dipika Kakar did special shopping for Bakrid but had to celebrate the festival in the hospital. Every member of the family including mother-in-law and mother-in-law reached the hospital to wish him. He considers the birth of a son as the best Eid ever. He said that he is in contact with the child through ‘Kangaroo Touch’. In which there is skin-to-skin contact between mother and child. The child is made to sleep on Deepika’s stomach. About this he said that ‘I got my best Idi on Eid. Doctor has advised to start Kangaroo Tack. In which I can keep the child with me. I cannot express that feeling in words. He was sleeping and gesturing when I held him. I am enjoying the moment of becoming a mother.
