The comedy serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah) has been in discussion for the last few days regarding the ongoing dispute between actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal and producer Asitkumar Modi. Actress Priya Ahuja Rajda, who played the role of Rita Reporter in this serial, has once again supported Jennifer Mistry in a recent interview. Priya has confirmed that all the allegations leveled against Jennifer by the makers of the show are baseless. Jennifer Mistry never misbehaved or broke discipline on the set.
Priya Ahuja got shocked
Priya Ahuja and her director husband Malav Rajda have supported Jennifer in an interview given to our partner ETimes TV. The most shocking thing for Priya Ahuja is that none of her co-stars supported Jennifer after she left the show. “What surprised me the most was that no one supported Jennifer as she had many personal friends on the set. Jennifer supported me when I was in depression. Jennifer also helped me with meditation. Here Even brought me and Malav closer in the beginning.” Jennifer never misbehaved with anyone on the sets and never broke discipline. I can say that for sure”, said Priya.
Malav Rajda was not surprised
However, Malav Rajda, Priya’s husband and director of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ for 14 years, says something else. According to Malav, he expected that no one from the show would support Jennifer and the same happened. No one wants their relationship to get spoiled on the set and hence did not raise voice for Jennifer. “I wasn’t surprised when no one supported Jennifer on set because the people who work there wouldn’t do anything to hurt their relationship.”
Malve also stopped praising Priya while leaving the show.
Priya Ahuja also said that she was not called on the sets after her husband Malav Rajda left the show. Even when Priya called up to ask whether her shoot would come or not, there was no response. Significantly, Jennifer Mistry has accused the show’s producer Asitkumar Modi, project head Sohil Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of physical and mental harassment. Monica Bhadoria and Priya Ahuja, who play Bawri, have supported Jennifer after her allegations. After Jennifer made the allegations, the police recorded her statement and took further action.
