Heavy rains are expected in northern India until July 21 and until July 23 on the west coast.

New Delhi: Heavy rains are expected in northern India through May 21, the Met’s office said. IMD said heavy rains were expected along the west coast through July 23.

Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan are likely to experience severe storms and thunderstorms for the next 24 hours.

The IMD states that humans and animals currently outdoors are at risk of death.

Widespread rains are likely to occur in the western Himalayas and northwestern India from July 18-21. After that, the intensity of the rains in the region will decrease.

Rains are expected in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and parts of northwestern India, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and northern Madhya Pradesh.
