- Bombay High Court issues 14-page bail order of Aryan Khan
- Director Ram Gopal Varma expressed his displeasure on NCB by tweeting.
- Ram Gopal Varma said- How can one trust the judicial system?
Criticizing NCB on social media, Ram Gopal Varma wrote, “It is a big joke on this democracy that Aryan Khan’s innocence has come to the fore that trading agencies are not held responsible for abusing their power.” If this can happen to Shahrukh Khan’s son, then God knows what will happen to the common people? This raises the question that how can one trust the justice system. Not only Ram Gopal Varma, but directors Sanjay Gupta, Kamal R Khan, Shaheen Bhatt, Farah Khan and many others have taken to social media handles to mention Aryan Khan’s acquittal.
The Narcotics Control Bureau raided a Mumbai-Goa cruise on 2 October on a tip-off from an alleged drug party. Eight people, including Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Dhamecha, were detained from there. The people were arrested after interrogation on October 3. The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested 20 accused in the case. 5 grams of charas were found from Moonmoon Dhamecha and 6 grams from Arbaaz. Most of the accused have been released on bail. However, as per the bail conditions, Aryan, Moonmoon and Arbaaz have to come to the Narcotics Control Bureau’s Mumbai office every Friday.
