india digital health card: digital health id card for all indians – india digital health id card things to know in malayalam

What is digital health identification?
As part of the Prime Minister’s Digital Health Mission (PM-DHM) under the National Digital Health Mission, the Digital Health ID card issued to citizens actually acts like a bank account. That is, personal health records must be added to this health account through a mobile app or through a government website. When information is aggregated in this way, customers will get a unique 14-digit identification number such as the Aadhaar number.
An important factor is that all information about a person’s health will be added to this account, so that all information about their health status and what medications they have taken before will be available to doctors. However, records that are kept very secure and confidential can only be viewed by someone else with the consent of the account holder.
Another important point is that the project includes four blocks: Digital Health ID, Registry of health professionals, Registry of health establishments and Electronic health records. In other words, in addition to the fact that citizens’ information will be recorded digitally, there will also be registered information from doctors who specialize in each category, as well as registered information from hospitals and clinics. The first objective of the project is to create a digital environment for health through these four blocks. The government also plans to include telemedicine and electronic pharmacies in the future.
This digital platform will have a complete database not only of doctors but also of all health professionals working in the fields of modern and traditional medicine. Through this, people can choose from a variety of treatments such as Ayurveda, Allopathy, and Homeopathy. In addition, the new system will make it easier for patients to choose government-recognized institutions and access health insurance services.
‘Digital Health ID, a system connecting the digital health systems of hospitals in India, has the potential to revolutionize the country’s healthcare. There is no other country in the world that uses government schemes like Aadhaar numbers of 130 crore and Jandhan bank accounts of 43 crore, ‘said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
How to create medical records?
All health-related information of the beneficiary must be registered through the website https://healthid.ndhm.gov.in/ using the mobile phone number or the Aadhaar card number. Or you can register after downloading ABDM Health Records app from Google Play Store.
Once on the website, the first step is to create a person’s medical identification card. If the digital health ID is generated with the Aadhaar card, the person’s 12-digit Aadhaar number must be provided. Also, a mobile phone number linked to Aadhaar is required for OTP verification.
Then the name, place, address, details of the household members, the contact of that person with them and the contact number must be given. After that, your health information must be registered with it. All of a person’s medical information, including laboratory reports, treatment details, and information seen in one or more hospitals or physicians, as well as information about past treatment and discharge from hospital, should be recorded here. This information will then be linked to the Health ID with the consent of the ID card holder. Once registration is complete, the Digital Health ID card can be downloaded.
Another thing to note is that registration with the Aadhaar card is currently available in the country. According to government sources, the process of generating IDs by means of a PAN card and a driver’s license will soon begin.
‘With the creation of the digital health ID card, a person can manage their own health affairs with a single click without the help of another person. Everyone should benefit from this service, which is completely free and time-consuming ”. – Says the National Mission of Digital Health.
