- Vengsarkar Says Indian Hitters Can Win If They Shine
London: Both teams are preparing for the third round of the ongoing five-round series between India and England. The game will be played on Wednesday in Leeds. Test 3 is crucial for England as India leads the series 1-0 after winning Test 2. If India wins the match, they will have an unbeaten lead in the series.
The former players are now advising India on what to do if they want to repeat their victory in the third test. Former Chief Minister Dilip Vengsarkar has said that India should not think that things will be easy. This is the best chance of winning the series in England. According to Vengsarkar, India can win if the batters score well.

Former England captain Monty Panesar says India can win if Joe Root is sacked early. Root stood out for England in the first two tests. He scored 386 runs in 4 innings. Former Indian cricketer Maninder Singh also warned that Root India could be a threat. Although things are in India’s favor, Maninder Singh warned that victory would not be easy if the route was not eliminated.
India won the first round at Leeds in 1986, when Kapil Dev captained India with a 279-race victory over England. Later in 2002, under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly, India won in the same place. India defeated Nasser Hussain and his team by 46 runs. Virat Kohli and India believe that the same success can be repeated.
