New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry issued a new warning after the ICMR forecast a third wave of Kovid in the country in late August. The next 125 days will be crucial for the country to control the spread of Kovid, said Justice Commission member Dr. VK Paul clarified.

The new wave of virus spread cannot be ruled out. The defense acquired against Kovid has not yet been achieved. The country needs to prevent the spread of Kovid. This can only be achieved if people follow Kovid’s advocacy guidelines. VK Paul said that the next 125 days will be crucial in reducing the number of Kovid cases.

Several countries are moving towards the third wave of Kovid. Those countries are getting into bad situations. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of a possible third wave. We need to learn from this warning and accelerate preparations. VK Paul added that the Prime Minister and others had shared information about it.

He added that newer variants of the virus were complicating things. Union Health Secretary Love Agarwal said Kovid cases were increasing in neighboring countries. New cases of Kovid are increasing in Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh. He added that the third hurricane Kovid in Malaysia and Bangladesh was in a more severe condition than the second wave.

The Health Ministry has said that the number of people wearing masks in the country has dropped significantly since restrictions on Kovid were relaxed. Union Health Secretary Love Agarwal said the use of masks had dropped by 74% since the shutdown.
