Livingston, the 42-ball century of Pakistan; Yet England lost!

Trent Bridge: Pakistan won the first match of the T20 series against England. Pakistan won the match by 31 runs. Batting first, the visitors scored 232 of 6, while England were out of 201 in 19.2 overs. Pakistan made a great comeback in the ODI series after losing to Whitewash.

Pakistan, which lost the toss and opted to hit, got off to a great start with a great score. Mohammad Rizwan (63 of 41 balls) and Babur Assam (85 of 49 balls) started the innings. Shoaib Maqsood (19 of 7 balls), Fakhar Zaman (26 of 8 balls) and Mohammad Hafeez (24 of 10 balls) were the other hitters to score. Tom Karan took two wickets for England.

Livingstown is the fastest England player to score a century in T20I. He also holds the record for the fastest half-century by an England player to complete half a century with 17 balls. Shabad Khan and Shaheen Afridi took three plots each. Mohammad Hasnain, who took a wicket for just 28 runs in 4 overs, also shone.
