New Delhi: The BJP has demanded that a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top ministers of state be displayed at places where free rations are distributed under the direction of the Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. The proposal says that the ration bag should also have the lotus symbol of the party.

The project was relaunched in the wake of the second wave of the Kovid epidemic to alleviate the plight of the poor. Eighty million people in the country are the beneficiaries of this. The plan provides 5 kg of food grains per person per month. The project has been extended until the end of November.
