Starting June 21, the central government will begin distributing free vaccines to all people over 18 years of age in the country. Previously, the government had said that it could not afford the cost of vaccinating people between the ages of 18 and 45. However, the Center changed its position after the Supreme Court and the states criticized it harshly. Currently, 75 percent of the total vaccine produced in the country is assumed by the Central Government and distributed free of charge to the States. The remaining vaccine is distributed through private hospitals.

Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja took the stage mocking the BJP leader’s call for a minister. A congressional spokesperson mocked the minister asking for money for the vaccine while BJP leaders put up posters thanking the prime minister for the free vaccine.
