Bollywood and sports world got to hear a sad news on Wednesday morning. Raj Kaushal, husband of famous director, producer and actress Mandira Bedi, has passed away. It is said that Raj Kaushal suffered a heart attack, which led to his death. Raj Kaushal had a party with friends on Sunday. He also shared a picture with Mandira and friends on social media on Monday. Raj Kaushal directed films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Laddu and Anthony Kaun Hai. He was also the producer of My Brother Nikhil, Shaadi Ka Laddu and Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhie. He was the stunt director of the 1992 film Bekhudi.

Born in Mumbai, Raj Kaushal wanted to make a career in the aviation industry after graduation. He wanted to become a commercial pilot. But after graduating in science in 1989, he began his career as a copywriter. He started writing ad films for an advertising agency. He did this for about 3 years. During this he also received many awards.

During the years 1992-1996, Raj Kaushal worked as an assistant director with the late director Mukul Anand. He was the assistant director to Subhash Ghai in the film Trimurti. In 1998, he started his own advertising agency. Since then, he has created over 800 commercials. Raj Kaushal did love marriage with Mandira Bedi in 1999. In 2011, they became parents to their son Veer. Raj and Mandira first met in 1996. Raj was working in an advertising film company at the time and needed a young woman to do a Philips commercial. Mandira was very popular then because of Shanti serial. They became good friends after the first meeting and then they got married.
