- Bunty Aur Babli 2 proved to be a flop at the box office.
- The audience did not like the sequel of superhit Bunty Aur Babli.
- People find the story of the film weak, lacking Abhishek too.
Produced under the banner of Aditya Chopra, the film is directed by Varun V Sharma. The film, which released on November 19, was expected to bring as much happiness to the audience as the 2005 film. But that did not happen. Interestingly, Bunty Aur Babli did a business of Rs 14.32 crore at the box office in the first week. But after 16 years Bunty Aur Babli 2 did not earn as much as the original film in its first week at the box office.
Bunty Aur Babli 2 did a business of Rs 2.60 crore on the first day. The film has earned Rs 8.30 crore on the first weekend. By the end of the first week, the film had earned only Rs 11.15 crore. In the second week, the condition of the film got worse. In short, the film proved to be a flop at the box office.
Market experts estimate that Bunty Aur Babli 2 will do business of Rs 4-5 crore on the first day. But the film disappointed on the very first day. One reason for this is the poor storyline of the film and instead of Abhishek-Rani, Saif-Rani are in the lead roles. The second reason is that Sooryavanshi has beaten the film at the box office.
