Shahrukh-Govinda never got together, but this movie can bridge the gap between the two!

The history of modern Hindi cinema would never be complete without mentioning the rise of two things in Bollywood in the 90’s. This is the period where two young actors are seen setting new hero standards in Indian cinema. Both seem to be achieving immense success. She is none other than Shahrukh Khan and Govinda. The time period from 1990 to 2000 is very important in the career of both stars. This is also the transformation period of Bollywood. Shahrukh Khan’s gray tones and romantic characters make him the most loved actor by a large part of the urban audience. He is almost seen reaching superhero status after Amitabh. Shah Rukh is an essential part of major banners such as Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions and is hugely popular with elite audiences.

On the other hand, in this era, Govinda also emerges as a superhero due to comedy movies, who becomes the most sought after actor of small towns, cities, and villages. His stardom and movie success rate is not seen less than Shahrukh in any sense. Be it a matter of popularity or success rate of movies. Govinda was the superstar of Small Banner’s Bishudh Masala movies. But his audience reach was very wide. Although Govinda was active in Bollywood before Shahrukh, but before the 90’s, his status seems to be that of a supporting actor. He appeared in solo roles on a few occasions.

Shahrukh Khan and Govinda.

Most remained part of the multi-star or aging superstar movie. The films in which he is the main actor were also small banner films. Large billboards are seen refusing to sign them. In those days, Govinda was also labeled as a B-grade actor. An actor who makes wild and arbitrary movies.

When Govinda movies created panic

But after the 90s, Govinda’s super-successful one-on-one masala artist took his stardom to the skies. Aside from Shahrukh, no other actor seems to be achieving as much success around him. Another thing is that even then the big banners don’t show any interest in making a movie about Govinda riding the sky of popularity. Aankhen, Rajababu, Dulara, Khuddar, Coolie No. One, Saajan Chale Sasural, Chhote Sarkar, Hero No. 1, Banarasi Babu, Deewana Mastana, Aunty No. 1, Pardesi Babu, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Had Kar Di Aapne and Kunwara and Entertainers got masala. . Of these, the actor had a great film – Dulhe Raja. The funny thing is that Shahrukh and Govinda achieved great success in almost the same period, despite the fact that they were both actors from two different streams. Except for cameos, I never remember the two of them being seen together in any movie.

Groom Raja will build a bridge between Govinda-Shahrukh

Shahrukh may be struggling right now, but his stardom still remains intact. While Govinda’s stardom is almost over. Now, although the two actors are not seen sharing screen space together, a movie can act as a bridge between the two. That movie is Dulhe Raja. According to some reports, Shah Rukh Khan has bought the negative rights to the remake of Govinda, Kader Khan and Raveena Tandon’s blockbuster ‘Dulhe Raja’. Shahrukh is busy on three big movies. While producing him, Red Chillies Entertainment is working on many other projects. Not all projects have Shahrukh. It is believed that if all goes well, the Dulhe Raja remake may also come out of Shahrukh’s production.

Pinkvilla recently said in a report that Farhad Samji, who is famous for his comedy, is working on the script for Dulhe Raja. Dulhe Raja’s story will be written according to the needs of the new age audience, and if the story is effective, the production will move on to a new version. The new version of Dulhe Raja can only be done with an A-lister actor. In recent times, many blockbuster Bollywood movies have been remade. Many remake movies have managed to gain immense success while entertaining the audience just like the original movies. As far as boyfriend Raja is concerned, this movie came in the year 1998. It was made by Harmesh Malhotra. In addition to Govinda Kader Khan and Raveena, Mohnish Bahl, Johnny Lever, Prem Chopra and Asrani were seen in the film.

If Dulhe Raja is produced as a new version with Red Chillies, then a bridge will be built between Shahrukh and Govinda.
