New Delhi: PNC leader Sharad Pawar met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. He visited the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi. The meeting lasted about 50 minutes.

The Prime Minister’s Office posted a picture of the two meeting on Twitter. The meeting between the leaders took place before the winter session of Parliament.

According to NDTV, the two leaders discussed the newly formed Ministry of Cooperation and agricultural affairs.

Pawar, who is also a member of Rajya Sabha, said that the formation of a new cooperation ministry was only one day away from the reorganization. He said that the laws for the cooperative sector have been framed in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and the Center has no right to interfere with the legislation prepared by the state.

He made it clear Wednesday that he was not the right man for the presidency. He also had two meetings with election strategist Prashant Kishore. There were signs that a third front was forming.
