The court asked the UP government to submit a detailed report on the incident before October 27. The UP government has submitted an affidavit in court in a sealed envelope about the incident.
Chief Justice NV Ramana had told lawyer Harish Salve, who was running for the UP government, that he had waited until the last minute for the affidavit and had to wait until evening. But Harish Salve responded that the report was presented in a sealed cover. However, the Chief Justice asked how the court could examine the matter if the report was submitted at the last minute.
