The body of Sufi singer Manmeet Singh, who went missing after a cloudburst in Dharamsala, has been found. While his family and fans are in mourning with the news of Manmeet Singh’s death, the San Brothers duo has also broken up in the world of music. Manmeet hails from Amritsar, Punjab. He gained a lot of popularity with the song ‘Duniyadari’. Manmeet’s body was found late Tuesday evening in a ditch near Kareri Lake in Kangra.

Manmeet was missing after a cloudburst at the inn on Monday. Police and rescue team personnel were constantly searching for him. On receiving the news of Manmeet’s death, there is an atmosphere of mourning in his ancestral village Chehrata, Amritsar. According to the information received, Manmeet Singh reached Dharamshala on Saturday along with his brother Karnpal and some friends.

On Sunday, everyone went from the inn to the Curry Lake. When it started raining at night, they stopped there. When they were returning on Monday morning, Manmeet got washed away in water while passing through a pothole. Efforts to locate them were launched immediately. Due to lack of mobile signal in Kareri village, efforts were made to trace Manmeet Singh with the help of villagers. The local administration was also contacted.

A team was formed after Manmeet Singh was reported missing near Kareri Lake. On Tuesday evening, the rescue team found Manmeet Singh’s body in the pit. The rescue team took the body to the inn.
