The big movies will clash twice in April, the first pandemic will break the clash now that Bollywood is back!

The effect of the weakening of the third wave of the Corona epidemic was that the release of films started from the first week of February. Last Friday two films (Badhaai Do and Gaheiyaan) were released in a movie theater and one on OTT. Along with this, the movies that were postponed in January are also being rescheduled. In general, the Bollywood film business seems to be back on track in the coming weeks. Recently, Yash Raj’s period drama Prithviraj has been rescheduled. However, due to rescheduling and date changes for some movies, we are also looking at a lot of big box office shocks in the year 2022.

The biggest shock of the year 2022 will be seen in the month of April. And that too not once but twice. It has been confirmed that on April 14 two great films will face each other. Neither producer has shown interest in moving the movie’s dates back and forth. Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha will arrive on this date. Aamir’s film was previously released in the Christmas week of 2021. It was later revealed that the film will be released in 2022 on Valentine’s Day i.e. February 14. However, the creators blocked the date of April 14. While on April 14th, Kannada star Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 action entertainer is already there.

The clash of Aamir Khan and Yash will be interesting.

Second big crash in April

On another date in April, two movies collide at the box office. The date is April 29. The films are – Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 and Ajay Devgan Amitabh Bachchan’s Runway 34. It was previously thought that after the movies were postponed in January, many dates would be rearranged. But usually after March, the dates the filmmakers set for their movie, they mostly commit to showing the movie. The date of April 29 seems more complicated for the box office. Because SS Rajamouli has blocked two dates for the period drama RRR, one of which is April 28. By the way, the creators of RRR have officially said that if all goes well, they will premiere their movie on Holi weekend on March 18.

At present, the way the situation seems to normalize regarding Corona, Rajamouli’s film is likely to hit theaters in March. Another thing is that even on the Holi weekend a strong clash is already brewing and everything has to be cleared. Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey is also scheduled for release on Holi. Incidentally, such discussions have also occurred about Akshay’s movie being released directly on OTT. Bachchan Pandey may be out on OTT, but another period drama: Ranveer Singh’s Shamshera is also scheduled for the holiday weekend.

Corona did damage, the shock will also break Bollywood’s back

There is no doubt that the film business is going through a difficult stage for Bollywood after Corona. The theaters have been able to function without problems only a few months after the arrival of the epidemic. Now there are so many movies lined up that they don’t have a clear window at the box office to release them. Great showdowns are created every month. It is not to say that the movies will be damaged due to the collision at the box office. In the days to come, how large-scale movies deal will definitely affect each other’s business.

OTT also presents a challenge

Double whammy conditions have been created for the movie business. OTT is also now seen to present a direct challenge to theaters. Like theaters, new movies are released on OTT on Fridays. Until now, it has been shown on many occasions that OTT movies have become a bay by blocking the way in front of movies arriving in theaters. The same was seen with Dhamaka and Bunty Aur Babli 2. Congratulations on this Friday and it looks the same with the depths too.

In general, the epidemic has presented many challenges in front of the movie business. The shock at the box office is like the scabies on leprosy.
