The Mahavikas Akhadi government is estimated to spend 9.6 million rupees a month on campaigns. Anil Galgali obtained the data from December 11, 2019 to March 12, 2021 through RTI. In 2019, the Uddhav government spent Rs 20.31 million.

In 2020 alone, the government spent 104.55 million rupees on the campaign of 26 different departments. An amount of Rs 5.96 million was spent as part of campaigns related to Women’s Day. According to RTI figures, Rs 19.92 million has been spent on the National Health Mission.

The Maharashtra government has spent 1.15 million rupees on social media campaigns in 2020 alone. An amount of 6.49 million rupees was spent on the three phases of urban development. As on March 12, 2021, the government has spent 29.79 million rupees in 12 departments. The government has spent 15.94 million rupees on education and 1.88 million rupees on the Jal Jeevan Mission campaign.
