Colombo: The young Indian cricket team is preparing for the series against Sri Lanka. The series, which begins July 18, includes three ODIs and one T20I. Since the older players are on tour in England, the younger players will have a better chance in Sri Lanka. Former Sri Lankan cricketer Aravinda D’Silva has praised three Indian players as they prepare for the series.

Ishant Kishan, Devdutt Padikkal and Chetan Zakaria, who have excelled in the IPL, are on D’Silva’s list. Devadath Padikkal is also Malayalee. Devadatta, who plays for Karnataka, was part of the national team with his stellar performance in national cricket and the IPL. Devadatta hopes to play his first international match in Sri Lanka.

De Silva said young players who have proven themselves in the Indian Premier League have come to Sri Lanka. This is a great opportunity for these players. He says that Kuldeep Yadav, who has been in and out of the national team for a long time, has a chance to return to his career. India has included six newcomers on its tour of Sri Lanka. D’Silva has denied allegations that India sent a second team team to Sri Lanka.
