New Delhi: Subramanian Swamy has said that the phones of Union ministers and RSS leaders were allegedly leaked using Israeli-made Pegasus spyware. Subramanian Swamy tweeted that he had received advice on this and that the international media would release more information.

Subramanian Swamy tweeted that there were rumors that the phones of Modi’s cabinet members, RSS leaders, Supreme Court justices and journalists were leaked. He said on Twitter that the Washington Post and The Guardian will soon release reports on the incident and provide more information if confirmed.

Trinamool Congressman Derek O’Brien also alleged that the phones of various opposition members were leaked using spyware. O’Brien was responding to a tweet from Subramanian Swamy. Lok Sabha member Karthi Chidambaram also responded to the tweet.

In early 2019, it was reported that the Indians’ phone details were leaked using Pegasus software. Pegasus is a software program developed by the Israel-based NSO Group.
