New Delhi: Election strategist Prashant Kishore is reportedly in talks with senior congressional leaders in Delhi. Prashant Kishore is holding talks with Rahul Gandhi after a series of talks with leaders of opposition parties, including Sharad Pawar. According to national media reports, the meeting took place at Rahul Gandhi’s residence.

Notably, the meeting comes after differences between congressional leaders in Punjab were resolved, where assembly elections are scheduled for next year. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and party rival Navjot Singh Sidhu are currently at odds. Prashant Kishore had previously collaborated with Congress before the UP Assembly elections, but the party failed miserably. At the same time, it is not clear what the theme of the new meeting between the two will be.

Prashant Kishore had met with the chairman of the CPN, Sharad Pawar, for the second time two weeks ago. Following the meeting between the two on June 11, there were reports that a new opposition alliance would be formed at the national level against the BJP. The meeting came after anti-BJP parties won assembly elections in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu with the help of Prashant Kishore. The two leaders spoke in secret for about an hour and a half. This was followed by a meeting between the two on June 21.
