Telugu cinema is also known for its great movies. Telugu makers have so far made many notable films that not only won at the box office but also entertained audiences a lot. SS Rajamouli belongs to this industry. They basically make Telugu movies which are also dubbed / recorded and released in other Indian languages including Hindi. Bahubali, which came in two parts, was a film that generated panic across the country. Rajamouli was scheduled to release the period drama RRR on January 7 this week. The film’s release was postponed in anticipation of the third wave of the Corona epidemic.
This is the second time the release of RRR, the film starring Jr NTR and Ramcharan Teja, has been postponed. Previously, they were preparing to bring the film to Dussehra as well, then due to the poor state of theaters the release was pushed ahead. Viewers of RRR are looking forward to it. This is disappointing news for viewers who were expecting to see the period drama. Despite the RRR release being postponed, there are many great period dramas in the Telugu industry to watch. Let’s see four movies.
# 1. Magadhira
Magadheera arrived in the year 2009. It was also led by SS Rajamouli. The story of the film was written by his father KV Vijayendra Prasad, in which a historical love story is shown in a very grand way in the concept of reincarnation and history. Ram Charan Teja played the main role of a powerful warrior named Bhairav. Its opposite is Kajal Aggarwal, daughter of a princess. However, Bhairav and Rajkumari’s love story was unsuccessful. In the Mughal era, Bhairav achieves martyrdom while fighting alone with hundreds of Mughal fighters.
After 400 years, Princess Bhairav and other characters are reborn again. Then the story begins to go through the same twists and turns it was in 400 years ago. Actually Magadheera means like a great warrior. Ramcharan Teja has done a wonderful performance in the movie. Action and grandeur are no less than the Bahubali of Rajamouli. Magadheera is one of the Telugu blockbusters. The film has been dubbed into Hindi and has been released on record-setting television. Magadheera is a much better option for the audience expecting RRR.
